Haiku of Admiration

We admire you, man
for you stood with us as one;
not above: just one.

Irish blood of strength
running through his sad-mad veins:
Genetic Soldier.

Defender of views,
not a slave to the norms which
fill our ears and screens.

He knows death too well,
yet still he remains fearless
as death is freedom.

Taken too soon – gone.
Nothing left but broken parts,
Nothing – just new starts.

Stupid dumb deaf blind,
my friend from a time ago –
you’re still weird you know.

His heart had chambers:
two for all his love and care;
two for his heartbreaks.

Maybe not so soon…
Oh well the baby is out!
Might as well be good.

Remember when you
said that Asia is in South
America – HA!

Simple curve of lips
brightens up the dull white room
and makes us happy.

Silky smooth vocals
caress our soft willing ears:
soak up sexy sound.

Can a poem even capture
the extent of your goodness
as a Human Being?
